The Little Pantry Minstry
One of the characteristics of our church is we love to feed people. About eight years ago when we discovered how many children in our local schools have little or no food to eat on a daily basis, we decided that was unacceptable. Spiritually, Christ is the bread of life. Practically, he provided bread for thousands of people. In Matthew 25:31-36, Jesus talks about what separates the sheep from the goats (believers from unbelievers). He says about true believers, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink…” In Luke 10:30-37, Jesus tells the story of the Good Samaritan, who saw a man in distress (he saw a need) and responded graciously and generously. We can do no less! Currently, we are feeding 104 children every weekend and with your help, we want to greatly expand our mission to these children.
